Just that he was a rich jerk with bad hair. I had never watched the show or an interview I suppose that impression was from reading an occasional article that mentioned him. I don't think very highly of anyone with a reality show short of practical shows like cooking.

I didn't think about him at all.

I didn't think about him on a regular basis. He's always been a clear narcicist, a spoiled baby with zero sense of humor and a pretty poor businessman considering his advantages with a show that jumped the shark many seasons ago. He was a joke.

I never thought about him much one way or another. He always seemed over the top ridiculous and like the epitome of 80's wealth - so flashy and trashy.

I actually liked the Apprentice but I didn't know anything about Donald Trump's personality beyond being egotistical. If I had known what I do now, I wouldn't have watched the Apprentice! He's absolutely disgusting.

I thought he was entertaining in a train wreck (no one gets hurt) way. The birther stuff sounded like a pile on and was his way of staying in the news/ relevant. He's always been a master at promoting himself and while I liked The Apprentice I really saw it as another way to build his brand and launch his children's.

I don't think I have ever heard him speak on a topic outside of what he said on the show that I thought he had credibility to say. He has outrageous opinions- always has. We are this close to him becoming the president, but for the longest time I could not take him seriously as a candidate.

I didn't think of him.

I've always disliked him. I'm from NY and he seemed to be a caricature of the kind of NYer that I find offensive. I never thought he was entertaining, and I did not like The Apprentice.

@travellingbee: same, and most.of my NY family agrees. He's the caricature of all the bad traits ascribed to New Yorkers. He's made some bad business choices that have impacted my parent's community, so he's always been pretty unpopular in their area.

Was never a fan; never watched Apprentice or anything.
