My shower was at held at my home and was very small so I didn't feel compelled to dress up or anything. I just wore black capris and a top. My shower was in the summer so I could have worn a breezy maxi dress or something.

I wore a striped maxi dress from Motherhood and got a ton of compliments on it. My shower was pretty casual, too!
It did take me buying and returning 4 other dresses to find that one, though. I feel your pain on being stumped!

Our baby shower was a cook-out in July and I was hot so I went pretty casual. (Please forgive the look on my face--and my DH, who was carrying a watermelon in under his shirt

I've been so stumped on this too! I'm due right around when you are Grizz, I think (June 1). I think I've decided I'm planning on wearing a maxi dress - I've got a few options. My shower will be sometime in the second half of April, so hopefully it will be a nice day here (in the Northeast).

i bought a maternity maxi dress from ASOS and it was way too big, and i cut it a little too close - so i ended up just wearing a black maternity tank, and a super old skirt that i just left unzipped and a new necklace from jcrew as the "treat" for something new to wear.
actually - i have a pic and you can see most of the outfit....

@Revel: Yep we're due date twins! I'm leaning toward a maxi too. @FutureMrsMcK: Awesome pic! haha!
@hellobeeboston: I love what you wore! I haven't had the best luck with Asos and their dresses either. I've never ordered one that fit me quite right.

I wore a high waisted skirt with a white button up shirt tucked in and tall wedges. I will see if I can find a pic. I was 33 weeks.
Eta: found one!

One I wore a dress and the other black pants and a shirt, it was freezing that day.

@hellobeeboston: I love that you just left your skirt unzipped
Mine will be mid June, so I have plenty of time to plan. I'm waiting until closer since I have no idea how big I"ll be.

@Foodnerd81: haha - i did that all of the time with skirts! you totally couldn't tell, just tuck under the open zip parts & the maternity shirts were all super long so I could just get away with it - ha...

Is it sad that I already have an outfit picked out? I found a blue and white chevron print maxi, wearing with a yellow skinny belt and a jean jacket. We'll see how I feel about it in May!

Eek I'm freaking out about what to wear. I ordered 2 dresses off of motherhood maternity that are supposed to be coming in tomorrow... but if only 1 fits it's back to square one because I have to wear that one to my dad's wedding! Eeeek. I'm tempted to find a maxi dress and hem it (i'm 5'1", most maxi dresses are like a foot too long) since it will be may and HOT, and then I could wear it to Vegas in mid-may....

I wore Rosie Pope's Hampton tunic dress in teal. I stalked her end of season sales and got it for $45! That with heels and a bubble necklace made me feel like I was still somewhat stylish. I wore it for every dressy event in the last few months, I think!

My mom is insisting on throwing a surprise shower. I love the thought but it is stressing me out because now I will have to make sure to dress cute every time I leave the house in May and June! (Most showers are within a month or two of your due date, right?)

I wore a dress from forever21, didn't want to spend too much money on something I would most likely only wear once...

@Bookworm: At Old Navy the non maternity maxi dresses come in a shorter length, I am 5'2" so I am excited about the option but I haven't tried it yet, it might be worth a shot though!

I rented a dress from mine for 9! Got a ton of compliments in it and wore it to my office Christmas party a week later. Sorry I don't have any pics though, we dropped the ball on that one.
