We're having our party at a nice restaurant, but dress code is casual chic. I told guests they could wear jeans.
I'm debating whether I should wear jeans and a nice top or a dress..

I wore a spring floral dress since my LO's bday is 4/24. LO wore the same but they did not match. My dress was pink and green. Hers was white and peachy/pink.

I plan on wearing something dressier than normal. Funny, I was just thinking about this today...

@Andrea: Okayyy.. I have a lovely dress I wanna wear, but my boobs are so stinking large the dress won't zip up. I might be able to squeeze into it if I drop 5 lbs. Party's in 8 days. Doable?

@chopsuey119: haha. any way to "catch" a stomach virus? then that is do-able!

@Andrea: I think I dropped about 2 lbs from being sick! Not sure! DH came back today and said I looked skinnier. He always thinks I look the same, so good sign!!! I'm gonna go dress shopping tomorrow or Saturday so I have a back up.

@chopsuey119: woohoo, 2 lbs!! but even if you lose weight, it might not shrink your boobs so best to have a back up, ya!

I'll probably wear a sundress. I usually do, they're so comfy, and cool which is important becaue LO's birthday is in July.

I wore jeans with a velvet blazer in plum, with an ivory and plum printed tank underneath (December). For a pop of color, teal suede wedges.

I wore my han bok!
I'd go dressier rather than more casual... you don't want to take the risk that a guest might look more dressy than you! I think as the hostess you are allowed to be overdressed

Floor length cotton dress that was elastic on the bodice. Looked strapless from far but spaghetti straps tied on the shoulders. Cream with with brown dots and green leaves.
It matched LO's dress and hubby's shirt. It's an old school local tradition to be all matchy matchy at the baby's 1st party.

@mrs. wagon: I wish I had a hanbok to wear!!!! I actually picked up a pretty dressy dress today! The color fits my color scheme for the party and my LO and I will match!

@mrs. wagon: I love how you can eat as much as you want without worrying when you wear a hanbok!

@chopsuey119: haha totally!! I say it's the genius of the Korean women... you could even be 9 months pregnant and no one would know!

I didn't think about this...I guess I can't wear yoga pants and a tank top!
