LO is a nightmare to change..she arches her back, sits up, stands up, rolls over, screams, etc. Changing her on the floor, my bed and changing pad is equally stressful.
What distracts your LO during diaper changes?

with charlie we used to have some bookshelves on the wall (the kind that display books) above the changing table that he would stand up and hold onto. with olive i have to give her a toy of some kind. she quickly loses interest though. the best thing is this game where i take a toy in my mouth (like a lego) and we pass it back from mouth to mouth with each other. she thinks it's hilarious every time!

@Mrs. Bee: I need to try the Lego trick because I am losing too much hair during diaper changes! Thanks!

Playing peek-a-boo, tossing toys on the floor, books, electronics that make noises (digital thermometer, calculator, etc), and a phone out of desperation. My 20 month old loves to play peek-a-boo the most, but he can lose interest quick if I don't change his diaper fast enough.

I give her a baby hanger to chew on. She has to hold it with both hands, so it stops her from grabbing for things and scratching herself (which she will ALWAYS do with empty hands). It works most of the time!

His mobile. He shakes with excitement q when he sees it. Nothing fancy just something homemade but the boy loves it

Singing. For some reason he loves it when I sing the ABCs and will stop wiggling and laugh.
