Next month i am going to pick up my little cousin for 2 weeks because i never get to see her she lives 4 hours away, she is 13 and i am not to sure what 13 year old's like to do, i know she loves doing makeup,hair ,watching movies, and reading books but does anyone else have any ideas? i think we will take her to a mall for sure and shop a little, but i was wondering about things to do around the house as well :), or outside

@BrentLee88: sounds like a girly girl to me! Mani pedis and a facial at home would be fun. Maybe even find (on Pinterest) some simple recipes for beauty products (like facials, hair conditioner, DIY lip balm). Definitely a chick flick (age appropriate) marathon complete with lot's of good snacks (you could make/bake/cook whatever treats you want to eat).
Is she athletic at all? Could you go to the park, play tennis/basketball, ride bikes, hike, go swimming, etc?
What did you do when you were 13? Could you teach her to make friendship bracelets? Introduce her to books you loved at thirteen (babysitters club anyone??)?

Do you have a pool or community pool you could go to if it's nice out? You could pack fun snacks, gossip magazines, etc, and go lay out in the sun!
If you take her to the mall, maybe go to a makeup counter at one of the department stores and get your makeup done!
Go to see a chick-flick! Maybe take her to a fun museum?
Make fun mocktails for a girls night?

hmm maybe go get a mani or pedi together (whichever is cheaper haha)? if she's never had one she may love that.
if you guys are close, you could also ask her - hey anything you'd like to do while you're here? she may give you some ideas

@cmomma17: Awesome ideas i don't think she likes sports at all, only swimming it seems to be and music, she is very quiet and shy, kinda likes to wear hoodies,jeans, it seems her self esteem isn't good, trying to open her up more.
