Whenever anybody sees or meets my LO, it's always, "Look at those eyes!" They're huge, bright, and blue. I don't know where she got them from, but I'm so glad she did.
Unless it's an old Jewish lady, then it's "Look at those pokies!" which means chunky legs.

They can't believe how much hair he has(he's only 2 1/2 weeks), which is funny to me because yes he has a full head of hair, but I don't think it's that much. My niece and nephews were all born with WAY more hair! He looks bald compared to them lol

People are always telling us how cute LO is. I love hearing it but I hope it's not filling up DS's head already!

With my boys the most common thing I get is are they triplets? And my you have your handfuls. With my daughter I usually get things like how sweet, or how beautiful. I also often get comments like wow three brothers, she's going to be tough or you finally got your girl .

always about the hair. My toddler has ringlets so it's always "look at those curls!" followed by "where did they come from?" Um...God? It's a weird question, I don't think it's that odd to get a curly kid without us having curly hair. My baby has lots of hair so it's all "look at all that hair!" followed by "she's so tiny!" Because they assume she must be older than she is with so much hair? She's not that tiny.
Long story short, my kids get their heads touched by strangers everywhere I go.

@runsyellowlites: I've had a few of those comments too. LO is in the 10-15th percentile for height and weight, so I get comments about his size a lot. Thankfully they're not mean ones
The number one comment I get is, "look at those eyelashes!!" He got my long, dark, naturally curled lashes. But on a baby - man do they look longer and darker! People are floored lol

We went out for the first time really today (2 weeks old tomorrow) and I got the same comment several times. "she's so alert" or "She's so bright".Apparantly for her age she looks like a tiny baby with an older babies face. When she's awake, her eyes are open and she's constantly looking around. Also, from pictures, a lot of people have said that ahe looks like my little brother. In person people say she looks like her Dad.

We get lots of "she's beautiful/adorable" comments and almost as many "she's so big" comments. The big comments I could do without. Thanks, I carry her around everyday, I'm well aware she's off the charts. And it really isn't comforting to hear how your 2 year old weighs less than my 9 month old either!

@Rubies: My BIL is always saying that my LO is serious like her daddy. She's only like that if she's playing though- if you get her attention she gives you a big smile
@MamaG: People always say my LO is "healthy" or "well fed." Which obviously means chunky. But I love her chubs so it doesn't bother me at all.

Everyone comments on how much she looks like me, which is fine. When she was a newborn, we actually had a few people tell us she looked Asian, which we're not AT ALL. It was something about her eyes.

I find the latter kind of odd. I mean, do you not understand genetics? Are you inquiring into his biological parentage? (should I make a joke about how the mailman has red hair?) Do you actually care who in the family has red hair?
It doesn't bother me, it just seems like such a weird thing to say.

Everytime anyone one sees my daughter for the first time they either say, "look at all that beautiful hair" or, "I love her eyes". She's got really long, silky dark brown hair. It really is beautiful. She's only 9 months old so the amount and lengthy are pretty unusual. She has big chestnut eyes too. Usually they're staring through people but they're pretty anyway At least to me!

It is usually about my son's big blue eyes. As he got older it would be either his eyes or his constant smile.
