My almost nine month old isn't a big fan of solids, but I can get her to eat veggies by mixing them into oatmeal. I'm tired of pumping to just get some milk to make oatmeal. Can I use water, or almond milk, or something else??

I used water or almond milk, after she had been on solids for a little while. Sure regular milk is fine too. I never wasted good breastmilk on it

i remember reading in my BLW book that WCM is fine to use as an ingredient in food (so oatmeal for example), and that it is only not recommended to replace BM or formula as a drink until after age 1....so i say water or WCM is fine!

@Zbug: I use water or almond milk! And sometimes fruit purée.
