    Grew up in Central PA and called them subs. Moved to Philly and called them hoagies. Moved back to Central PA and hoagies stuck.

    Sub or grinder and from MA. I think they used to be grinders but after moving out of state for several years I usually call them subs now.

    I call them subs but I know all of those terms except for wedge.

    Usually a sub! Others in my area also say poboy but I feel like describes a sandwich that's usually hot and has some kind of seafood/Cajun seasoning. I'm in Texas.
