    @Anagram: Yup! First picture is a sucker, the swirly one is a lollipop. I never heard someone say differently until I moved out to the East coast! It's a midwest term I think. Or maybe lollipop is only an eastern term.

    lollipop! I'm from PA but live in WA.

    ETA: I think I've only used the word 'sucker' for describing someone. Like 'I'm such a sucker for lollipops!' Maybe I might use it to describe a pacifier.

    Also from Ontario Canada.

    I call them "Lollies", so I voted lollipop. I never say "sucker".
