For me to feel like I was a "good" mom for the day, the following would have to happen:
- LO didn't eat junk
- less than 15 mins of screen time
That's it really..should I aim higher? Haha. What about you?

Hmmm....
- he got a nap of 1.5h or more
- he didn't blowout
- I got to shower before noon
- I cooked (like actually cooked: no sandwiches)
That's not to say that if these don't happen I consider myself a failure because a TRUE win is simply that my 15m old is alive and well by the time his dad gets home(his dad getting home is my "finish line" for my SAH day).

When LO has ...
- napped for at least 1hr
- ate breakfast and lunch
- managed to not hurt herself too badly
and I've at least cleaned a little and cooked a well-balanced dinner.
@CupQuakeWalk: My end of the day is when DH gets home too!

If we both make it through the day alive and without injury I consider it a win. Low expectations?

Its a very successful day if Im dressed when DH gets home!! If I have dinner prepped too, its an amazing day!

My answer would've been a lot different when he was younger, but now it's that we got out of the house, I did something productive during his nap, and a good dinner is ready so we can hang out as a family when DH gets home.

If I shower, dd is happy, and I make dinner, it's a good day. If I manage to get out of the house too, it's a great day. If all of the above happens and I get something around the house done, the day is amazing!

If I get even one household chore done I shout it as soon as DH walks through the door - I DID THE LAUNDRY TODAY!!!
Taking a shower is bonus.

@MamaChin: lol, when DH gets home, I say "DID YA NOTICE?" as I wave my arms around the kitchen. I am trying to show him the dishes are done haha

If we get out of the house
If I get a load of laundry in
If I don't have a counter full of dishes
If we play together
Historically he has needed his sleep so this usually isn't an issue. Dinner is the only task I look forward to, so it always gets done.

-an outing or activity during the day
-my nightly, make dinner, feed dinner, vacuum dinner, bathe because they're a mess from dinner routine has to happen

- Everybody napped/ate reasonably well
- We did something semi-educational (working on this...a lot of the recent blogs have me thinking about doing more arts and crafts/sensory stuff)
- I did some sort of cleaning or laundry
- I took a break and managed to shower
- There's AT LEAST a plan for a healthy dinner and the ingredients to do it...if DH cooks, that's a successful day, too!
