I live in my home. We don't know if it will be our forever home, but either way it's ours and we've made it "us."

I do still call my home where my parents live home because I grew up there. It was my home for 18 years, it's a hard habit to break.

Wherever DH is, that's my home. I tell him his chest is my home I know this isn't out forever home, we live in an apartment, but it's home 'cause we live here together. We don't live far from where I grew up, so maybe if we did I would feel differently.

I consider many things home. The pacific nw is my home. I absolutely love this area of the world. Obviously the small town I grew up in is my hometown and then the city I currently live in is home now. We live in an apartment and while we're moving to a house idk that it will really feel like home until we own it. But I agree that home is also where dh and our future baby are. All I need is them.

I consider our house to be home, I love our community and or house and we have a home mindset here- the past few places we lived weren't home even if it was where dh and I live together. However, we both grew up in another state and still say "we are going home" when we go back.

I sometimes still refer to my parents' house as 'home' but I've been transitioning to almost always referring to my home with DH as 'home.' I'm 4 or 5 ours from where I grew up so I always think of that area as my hometown but where I live is actually home. I guess-- if that makes any sense.

DH's parents have divorced and moved, plus he'd moved in junior high, so home is here. He just goes and visits his mom at her house.

everywhere! hah. I have "home" = my parents' home,, "home" = my place, whereever we are currently living, "home"=my friend's house when we are out doing something but intend to go back.

i call a whole lot of places home

I kind of struggle with the concept of home or a hometown. I moved 3 times as a child and then lived in the same house for about 15 years. My parents have since sold that house and moved away from the area, so it's not like I have a reason to go back there as friends have also moved away. I then went to university for 4 years, then moved again to live with DH. We lived in that city for over 5 years and then moved to where we live now, the other side of the country. After only living here for less than a year, we're moving again in a month or so to a different place altogether. Hopefully one day we'll settle!!

On Facebook I have my hometown set as the town I was born in, though I only lived there for about 2 years and don't remember it at all!

Well I was born in MS and moved to AZ when I was 10. All my family still lived in MS so I still go back often. I consider Arizona home because I will live here forever. I guess I consider MS part of my roots and still like many parts of it and the south but I would never want to live there again.
