I meal plan so normally I have a meal planned for each night... but tonight the meal plan fell through when I found my lemon was moldy!! I fed LO a simple dinner and now I have no idea what to eat. Hate that! Oh! and no car - so no getting take out... hmmm...

I order pizza on nights like that... Or just scrounge up whatever food is around. Like I'll eat a granola bar, some leftover broccoli, and some yogurt.

I usually whip up an alternative with the same protein if its already defrosted. One night I ended up using honey, ginger, and soy sauce on fish. Turned out pretty well.
Or did din becomes grilled cheese or my new healthy fave Pacific lentil soup.

Oh dang!! I'd rummage the freezer to see if there's freezer meals available, eat ramen, or make eggs and rice.

Happened today! We had gnocci instead (super fast) and a salad (tossed in some cheese and nuts for protein).

I usually have something in the house..... soup, pancake mix, pasta, etc. Not as yummy as what I was expecting but it's something. Or we'll get takeout or order in.

I scrounge in the freezer. There's always something I can eat. Or soup. Or pasta. I never *have* to resort to take out because I keep emergencies on hand. Not that I wouldn't just say, "screw it, let's get pizza"
