Sometimes I nap. Other times I do housework. Last week we watched House of Cards.
I just got done putting laundry away and getting some bags together for donation and cleaning out the new nursery so we can paint later today!

Hold him when we can get him to nap in his crib, I usually shower or do chores really quickly because I know he will wake up in exactly 45 minutes... And then I have to hold him.

Usually a mix of chores and relaxing. Right now we're binge-watching Parenthood.

Morning nap I clean the downstairs and shower. Afternoon nap I chill and surf the internet or watch a show. If DH happens to be home, I try to go to the gym or a run.

@lawbee11: I just started watching Parenthood this week on Netflix!! It's so good.

Depends. Today I made bread, cleaned the kitchen and did dishes. I need to sweep and fold laundry but I'm taking a break to watch the end of Coyote Ugly and prop my feet up.

I very rarely get a double nap. Today I am but holding dd 2 to ensure she gets a good nap because she's sick. The house and dishes can wait.

I usually relax. I do chores when the kids are awake so I can enjoy naptime/bedtime!

@lawbee11: @Tanjowen: I watch parenthood during naps too! Since Jan 1st I've made it through all 5 seasons on Netflix. I'm now watching Season 6 on iTunes because I just couldn't wait for it to come to Netflix ! But I'm also limiting how many I watch in a week because I want to savor it. It's just so good!

Usually he's only asleep for 30-45min, so I'll eat lunch, do some quick housework or try to nap with him (it takes me ages to fall asleep though, which sucks).

I would love to get a bit of cleaning done but the slightest noise wakes her so I cant hoover, open the front door to take rubbish out or open the sliding wardrobe doors to put laundry away....... so I usually tidy up her toys then sit down with a cup of tea.

I usually nap once a weekend. DH always naps. Sometimes I watch TV, errands, pedicure, laundry, etc. Today I left when she was still napping to get my car washed.

Usually check/respond to work emails, Facebook, hellobee, watch tv, wash dishes/bottles, tidy up... honestly though, I get pretty bored and lonely. Am I the only one?

I SAH so during the week I feed the chickens really quickly, squeeze in a 30 to 45 minute workout and then do chores while watching netflix (dishes, dinner prep, laundry, phone calls...) Saturdays I usually just hang out and Sundays I usually try to get in a half workout and clean the bathrooms. She takes long naps so I usually get hang out time on Sundays

Usually a mix of chores/lunch/relax. I'll usually put in some laundry and clean up a bit then make some lunch and eat and relax. By make lunch I do NOT mean real cooking!
@CakeLady: aw don't feel too bad.. (Eta, as in, making comparisons... It's hard not to feel bummed and I totally don't blame you for that!) I'm assuming you have a younger lo. Many hb moms seem to have older toddlers. Hope you get there soon!
pomelo / 5678 posts
@Cherrybee: same here. I actually find naps stressful because I cannot make a peep!
LO isn't a big napper lucky me... I could never nap, she'd wake up for sure!

Saturday's I try to nap or at least lay down. Sunday's I clean the bathrooms and then relax.
ETA: Until he was 20 months he would only nap on or beside me, so I napped, read or surfed the internet on my phone. Sometimes I miss those days.
nectarine / 2797 posts
She's in a phase where she only naps beside me and I'm 8w pregnant so I've been napping too. I used to relax with a book or work out.
pomegranate / 3604 posts
I nap for his first one. Second one is a mix of housework and lounging.
