We went to the beach yesterday and LO has been exhausted ever since. She napped in the car on the way home and then fell asleep (after being a cranky pants) on the way home from dinner. This morning she fell asleep on the way to the library and again on the way home from the library. She's been napping for over 3 hours. If I ever need to wear her out.... we're going to the beach

Yeah, outdoor activities in general are good for that, but especially water-related ones! When we were doing swim classes with LO those would knock him out a good 90 minutes earlier than we'd normally expect him to nap.

We've recently learned that swimming does him in...and me, too!

Yep, swimming or going to the playground and letting them run around.
It's an incredibly difficult feat. to wear out our eldest.

He just has so much energy that no activity makes him tired.

@yin: That's how my LO is too.
We used to joke that by going on runs with the dogs we just made them more hyper. So on days when we weren't going to do 10 miles with them and just ran a couple miles instead they acted like they'd been cooped up for days. I feel like that's how it is with my LO, especially now that it's gotten nice out and she's used to being outside all day, I'm like what will wear you out girl. -

Nothing wears her out.....she's crazy!!!
She will swim all morning and then only take a 45-minute nap!
