I made a Happy Birthday banner and I'm making 100 feet of pom garland for my LO's 1st birthday.
I probably won't be re-using either.. so do I toss them? Sell them on Etsy? Store them just in case I use them in the future..?

I donate them to Goodwill because I always figure someone may need them for a party! I think selling them on a classified section is also a great idea!

@chopsuey119: Darn, my LO is a boy. Otherwise I really would snag it. I bet someone else would, so really try to sell it here. I probably will after our party for stuff I wouldn't use again.

@chopsuey119: I was hoping someone at the party will want the stuff. Someone's lo is turning 3 a couple months after my lo, so maybe she'll want it. But so far her themes have been tv related, yo gabba gabba and sesame street, so I'm not counting on it.

@ecogirl: I've only watched it for a couple of minutes and couldn't stand it any longer. Luckily lo is too young for tv so I could just turn it off. I was just curious to see what all the fuss is about.

i think it's a great idea to give them away (like centerpieces at a wedding).... or save them for someone else who'll be throwing a party. or selling them.... no need to throw away all your hard work!

I've wondered this too! I'm TERRIBLE about not being able to throw my DIY decor away b/c well I spent alot of time on them!
Maybe I'll look into selling some of them! =)
