We end up with a lot of used kimchi jars, and I've been washing them and reusing them to store boricha. We're kind of ODing on kimchi jars though, and so soon I'll just start recycling them.
What do you do with used glass jars... do you wash and reuse them? Recycle?

I have a few glass pickle jars that are washed and waiting for a good use! The rest I've recycled.

I have some glass jars that I reuse to hold marinades, dressings, and sauces, but I recycle the huge kimchi sized jars - I'd have no idea what to put in there!

@Mrs. High Heels: We buy the smaller kimchi jars... those are a pretty handy size!
Growing up, we saved the larger kimchi jars since we made our own kimchi... but these days, I don't have time to make kimchi so we'd just throw them out too! Although when the kids are older, I think we'll start making our own kimchi since I think the kids would love it!

I hate too many random jars, so we just have a couple saved. I usually recycle them.

I re-use mason jars for small flower arrangements throughout the house.

They all end up in the garage or basement! DH requisitions them for holding small parts and miscellaneous workshop stuff. In fact, all of my paper towels and coffee cups usually end up down there too, heh.

If I have a reason to reuse I will, like for holidays and birthdays ill put food mixes in them, and now I'm saving some to decorate and use as vases for los birthday party.
But if I don't need them I recycle.

I hold on to a handful and then recycle them when I reach my threshold on a reasonable amount. Like @artbee: I sometimes save them to use as candle holders or small vases. A friend always hosts Thanksgiving and she starts hoarding jars and other containers for a few weeks before and then packs up leftovers in them for everyone.

I have saved so many of them that I no longer have any room. Unless it's a good size or really nice, it goes in the recycling bin.
