I've seen kids a lot at the OB's office, but usually not at any other doctor's offices. I'm lucky in that I have my mom close by to watch her if I have an apt.

DH is coming with me tomorrow, so it'll be the 3 of us in the ultrasound room!
I usually take her with me. Keep her strapped in her stroller. -
So far she comes with me everywhere, my Dr is pretty chill. I don't bring her to my hairdresser tho, she visits with grandma during mamas hair appts

@prettylizy: My hair dresser is my friend so she would probably kill me if I didn't bring my LO to see her. But I'd have my mom meet me there to watch her while I got my hair done. Haven't gone since LO was born!

@artbee: I swung by to show her off bc my hairdresser was Dying to see her, but I usually get color done and it's a big busy chemical smelly salon, I don't think LO would like that very much. I actually had an appt the day after I went into labour that I obviously missed and I've been dying to get back in there. I rarely go more than 8 weeks btwn appts

@prettylizy: Oh no, I wouldn't want to take LO if it were smelly either. But then again I wouldn't go myself then- smells like that give me migraines.

luckily I had my MIL watch LO when I went to doc.

I used to take my son with me to every doctor visit during my pregnancy. Now that I don't go to the doctors as often, I try to coordinate it so husband can come home early to watch. But if I can't, I just take both kids.

I take him with me lately. He just sits in his stroller and 'reads' his books.
