I almost always eat leftovers or something simple like cereal or eggs when my husband works at night. He's "working" tonight too - at a required dinner at a fancy steak restaurant. I'm having boxed mac n cheese. Oh the injustice!
What do you do?

@mrbee: I joked that he must! But who knows. He had a dinner the other night too, but brought nothing! He claims it was because it was "family style" portions. So mean.

DH is working tonight in ME, so DS and I went to a pizzeria!
If DH is out doing something fun I usually treat myself by ordering in.

I'm the same, pasta, pb&j, cereal, or a frozen burrito. He doesn't understand why I want to eat real dinners with him. In jut too lazy to cook something just for myself!

This makes me feel so much better. DH has been gone all week for work an I've had both cereal and eggs for
Dinner. Thinkin tonight is a PB&J night. I have no inspiration to make anything when it is just me but I thought I was being
Lazy. Glad to know it's not just me!

DH cooks in our house, so when he's away, I always make it simple. My favorite is flaky bread, a good cheese, and an array of fruits. Wine, too, when I'm not pregnant.

Whatever I want! We have pretty different tastes so if I'm craving something he doesn't normally eat, I go out and get it!

Something that I would have eaten in college. Chips and dip, apples and cheese, cheese by itself...

DH is usually never home for dinner. We make casseroles on Sunday, so I eat that during the week with salad.
