IRL, I think. I have a ton of online acquaintances but there are very few who I consider close friends the same way my IRL friends are. I guess it's hard to explain, but I think of a friend as someone who I would do anything for or who really know (and still love) who I am.

Online. I have very few friends IRL. I am actually quite shy. It takes a lot for me to be super outgoing when meeting people. It doesn't come naturally!

At this time in my life I feel much closer to my online friends. Whom all hopefully will become IRL friends very soon!

I would definitely say I have more IRL friends at the moment, but this is my first foray into a true online community that I feel like I can relate to, so I hope that might change. If nothing else, you ladies are pretty much the only ones I know with kids around the same age as mine, and that means something to me!
also @MsLipGloss: shnozzberries taste like shnozzberries! (no idea how you should actually spell that).

Online, for sure. I actually was given a mug for my birthday that says "I have a life, I just prefer it online." Ouch ;). Haha - online is better for me - I've got a serious social anxiety disorder, so I can chat with all of you ladies without getting all uptight!

@Reese: Definitely (letting guard down)! My (super close friends - all 1 of them!) call me *litigator Barbie* (I am an attorney), so people have a hard time imagining that I (a) have a sense of humor, and (b) love toilet jokes as much as any eight year old boy.
