If you have a wreath or anything on your front door, what does it look like? How did you decide what to go with? I had some really pretty decorations on my front door for Christmas, and now every time I look at it, it looks sad with nothing there. So I'd like to put something up, but I can't think what. Right now it's just white, brick house with dark green shutters. The plan is to paint the shutters and door sort of a dark TARDIS blue, but not sure when that'll happen. Certainly not until it's warm at least. So help me with some ideas!

I'm in an apartment but I do have two decorative signs on my door. One says "home sweet apartment" and the other says " yankees fans welcome, Red Sox fans use the back door"

a No Soliciting cling and a handwritten signed written in all caps taped to the door that says DO NOT KNOCK. (Also I disconnected our doorbell).
So basically I'm super friendly.

I have a moose wearing a winter scarf that I leave up until I put out my spring decorations. It has a wire attached so I hang it on a hook in the front door. It's made of some lightweight particle board type of material.

Wreath I made with Burlap ribbon and our last name initial on it. I have one for misc holidays and season.

Mostly I do it for sales people and packages though. I buy a lot on amazon and for some reason UPS insists on knocking on my door. Nothing needs a signature. Hit the (disconnected but they don't know that) doorbell and be on your merry way please! If you knock and my dog barks and wakes up my child I will punch you. Srsly. -
@Mae: Our UPS guy is THE WORST. I did it to keep the religious knockers away. They are always wanting to talk with me about Jesus.

We have a welcome sign with a pineapple. We got it as an engagement gift years ago but have always really liked it so we never changed it.
