Is there any one thing that you miss the most about your pre-parenthood life?
Mine is easy- it's sleep. I miss the days that I was able to just lay down, go to sleep and wake up rested at a time that I chose. Other than that it's alllll good

I miss just being able to go out whenever I wanted and where ever I wanted. Now it's all about arranging and going to a limited number of places.

I agree, sleep! And how easy it used to be to do simple things like go to the grocery store, where now it's a big schlep.

Yes, we definitely can't just decide we need to go out and do it. It's a whole production sometimes.
I remembe people always saying to me, "when you have children you'll never sleep the same again, haha!" And I was like, "Oh, that's ok". Now I'm like, "Wait, what? They were serious?... Crap"

being spontaneous. everything has to be planned now whereas before if we wanted to watch a movie, we watched one. if we wanted to go out to dinner we did. now it's a whole production!

Shoot. SLeep hands down. And being able to take off whenever we want.
