DH made some for Mother's Day and he threw in fruit we had around. Oranges, lemon & lime.

What we have in the house- some kind of citrus, strawberries are good, peaches, apples, grapes

2 bottles of red wine
1 cup of Brandy
1 cup of Triple Sec
1/2 cup of lemon juice
2/3 cup of OJ
1 can frozen lemonade concentrate
2 oranges, 2 limes and 2 lemons sliced
1/2 jar of maraschino cherries (just the cherries)
1/2 cup of sugar
4 cups carbonated water or Ginger AleCombine all ingredients other than the water/ginger ale. Refrigerate for 12 hours or longer. Add the water/ginger ale immediately before serving.

Depends on the wine.
If it is rose, I do peaches and raspberries.
If it's white wine, I do chopped apples in addition to citrus.
I don't really care for red wine sangria, I'll be honest. -
I made some really good strawberry lemonade sangria last summer, but it was really strong. Everyone had to work the next day except for me. Oops!
