I have a friend who got married in October... And we had lots of convos before about how they were going to start TTC immediately (including choosing Europe over Africa for their honeymoon b/c some of the shots required). She just emailed me asking for advice for a friend who needs an ob, and in my answer I said, congrats to your friend! And she wrote back that it really is a friend, not her, and it isn't her time yet but she's ok with that.

And everything I can think to write back is so wrong... "hugs" too trifling, "at least we can go out and drink!" too crass, "your time will come" too false because I know for some women it just doesn't.

So: what's the optimistic response that says, big hugs to you, no pressure from me, lalala i'll just forget all those convos we had about TTC?
