Do you have a Costco nearby? And somebody who would accompany you so you could use their membership if you don't have one? They have lots of really, really good pre-made stuff. We get their chicken salad and crab salad all the time, and pair it with their croissants. Tons of options there for a great price, and no cooking involved!

@locavore_mama: one we use regularly for in law's party comes out to like $5-6 pp. it's crazy! they bring 3 kinds of fillings, all the toppings, guac, tortillas. we just supplement with sides and drinks. we literally couldn't do the same thing for the same price and we don't have to cook a thing! guests (and we) love it!
