We keep ours at about 74, this is the firs time we have had central air though so I'm not sure if it's average or not.

During the day it's at 72 and at night it is at 70.

76 for the bedrooms; we have 3 zones.

I try to aim for 78 during the day, but DH turns it down to 76 when he comes home. We keep it between 76 and 77 at night. The rooms upstairs are warmer and usually around 78-80 at night.

78 in the kids rooms. it blows on them so any cooler and they get too cold. 72 in the other rooms.

Right now it's at 78, I'll turn it down tonight because the thermostat is poorly located so to cool the bedrooms you have to set the central air thermostat in the dining room to 75.

72, sometimes dh likes to sneak it up to 73.
