I don't think your bra straps should be showing at work. Well, maybe if you worked at somewhere super casual then it would be OK. But otherwise, I don't think it's the end of the world if I am wearing a tank top that doesn't hide my straps. I don't always want to wear a strapless bra. Those things are torture.

I agree, work they should not be showing...daily life I have them hanging out! These days only a few bras fit, and I'm not about to wear a strapless unless I absolutely have too!

Daily life I don't really care, but at my work, it would be really inappropriate for your bra straps to be showing. If I'm wearing a tank top, I usually have something over it, since a tank top on its own wouldn't be work appropriate for my office.

Not at work, that seems unprofessional, unless you're a lifeguard or gardener or something. Outside of work, whatever, I'm a pretty casual person though.

I hate having my bra straps show. My parents were pretty strict on that and it's something that has stayed with me into adulthood. I either wear a strapless, go for thicker straps, or wear some kind of sweater.

I don't wear a normal bra. My bras always look like tank tops with tank top straps, so I don't worry about it.

I like to keep mine hidden, regardless of environment (unless I am just at the house).

I don't mind a bra strap slightly showing in a casual setting on other people, but I usually wear a strapless bra or racerback bra for those types of tanks.

I don't mind bra straps showing if they're cute.
I have a few rainbow strapped bras. sometimes I'll let my straps purposely show so I can show them off

I don't mind if I am just hanging out at home or doing errands but I won't go to dinner or meet friends with my bra straps out! Strapless Bras are horrible!!!

I don't like when bra straps are showing a lot, no matter what you're wearing or how cute the bra is. It just looks like you didn't try to dress with clothing that all fits. I think I'm in the minority though.

casual, I'm not crazy for it. I get it if it's a pretty bra with a sheer shirt, like those tank tops that have lace backs or something and you wear a bright colored bra with it.a pet peeve of mine is those sheer lacey tops or cut out tops with a nude-colored bra, I feel like you either have to go braless or wear something cute under it if it's going to be very obviously showing.

At work it is a definitely no-no! Casually, I don't think it is a big deal. I definitely slip a little bra strap now and again.

@mrs. bird: Ha! I was a lifeguard for ten years. Totally had my bra showing all the time. The tanks you have to wear have stupid arm holes. And that's why I wore a sports bra.

We're not allowed tank tops at work, so I'm pretty sure that bra straps aren't allowed either. Outside of work, I only let them show if they are the same colour as the tank I'm wearing.

I don't like when bra straps are showing on purpose. If you're wearing a tank top and they're slightly visible, no big deal, but I'm not really into the display of undergarments! I hardly ever wear tops that would show bra straps, but if I do I usually suck it up and wear a strapless bra.
Just today one of my coworkers had on a cute maxi dress and her bra was totally hanging out. We're a casual workplace, and it was Friday, but c'mon. She also had flip flops on. I dress way down at work, don't wear makeup or anything, but I try to at least be decent!

I don't like it. I have a maxi dress with weird straps and can't wear a strapless bra right now so, I just wear a sweater over it in public. I don't like it when I can see your bra. I really don't like it when you wear a light colored shirt with a black bra underneath. Exception: I understand bra slippage, just not obvious bra showing-off.

I don't like it at all... There's a couple "going out" shirts that I'm ok with ... but def not at work... or even other casual wear...
