1. What do you think about pointy-toe heels?
2. What do you think about THESE pointy-toe heels? If you don't like them, what would you suggest I wear with skirts to a convention? I can't wear higher heels than this because I'll be on my feet all day.
3. Can I wear flats with a skirt and still look dressy enough?

I think pointy toe heels are super cute, but I have found they tend to hurt my feet after a while. If that pair is comfortable enough, I would definitely wear those over flats to a work convention!

Those kind of heels kill my feet after a long day, I need a thicker heel if I am going to be standing all day.
What about pointy toe flats? They're pretty with a skirt.

1. I do not like pointy-toe heels. They make me think of witches. (The Witches by Roald Dahl)
2. For pointy-toe heels, they are fine. As in, I don't like them. 
3. You can totally wear flats! Just fine some nice structured ones. Like these:

I love pointy toe - but if we're standing at a conference all day, I'd do pointy toe flats. I think they look a bit dressier than round toe flats.

I don't like pointy toed shoes (they hurt) but if you are comfortable in them - go for it.

I have a few pairs of flats that have a slight wedge heel to them--something like that would be comfortable for standing around all day. I like the shoes you posted, I think they would look fine, too, but worry that even the small heel could be uncomfortable.

I got my first pair of pointy toe heels last christmas. I am SO IN LOVE. They're super hot and I'm not addicted and can't wait to buy more.

I'm usually not a fan of pointy toe shoes anymore, but those look fine. Flat would be ok too.

I wouldn't do flats with a skirt. What about some wedges? They will look dressier and are comfy.

@mediagirl: Could you do something with a slight wedge? Those metallic flats are all cute, but they seem kind of youngish to me? Maybe that's the wrong word, but not super professional. What about something like this in black or nude?

I don't love kitten heels - I once heard someone refer to them as the "mullet of shoes".
I would do a flat with a slight wedge or a stacked heel.
I know Aerosoles scream old lady, but they do have some cute/simple styles and are honestly so comfortable.

Convention season is coming up for me; I always take my shoes off behind the booth and then grow when it's time to leave. Lol
The kitten heel pointy toes are very cute. Low wedge are super comfy too. I love my Aerosoles velcro sandals, but even those after a while hurt. Another brand to try is Calvin Klein, they have a line with padded insoles and on the back of the heel theres a little button.

I think those are super cute! I have chubby toes so pointy toes don't work on my feet, but I love how they look.
