I use a bath poof (or loufa? I think that's what they're called) w/ body wash. What do you use?

I use a bar of soap! I used to use a loofa with Bath and Body Works body wash but I would break out because of my skin issues so now I’m back to boring, unscented, hypoallergenic soap. Booooooo.

Usually just the bar of soap! I do have some fancy body wash and I use a pouf when I use that

i read something once about bacteria in a loofah, and it scared the crap out of me. i haven't used on since.
i use a dove bar for my face, but i use my hand and body wash for my body (is that gross?).

I used to use loufa's until I got a really bad rash on my belly.
Now I just use my hands to wash.

I use a bar of soap and a washcloth. I use the washcloth on my face and the soap everywhere else.

@pastemoo: I can't edit the poll... Either that or I don't know how to edit it. I clicked edit, but it will only let me change what I wrote. Sorry!

I just put body wash on my hands, no loofa or anything. When I'm grubby I'll use a washcloth for extra scrub.

I use a netted bath sponge, DH is west african and the next sponge is popular there. Its coarser than a pouf and exfoliates the skin much better

What do you call those Korean/Japanese scrubby washcloths that come in pastel colors? That's what I use.

@photojane: I think if you replace your loofah/poof often enough (I buy a new one every month), you don't run into any gross issues. I've never noticed anything and I always buy white poofs so I'd probably see it if it did start growing.

Bar of soap. I also have a fear of the bacteria that can grow in a loufa given that it's pretty much constantly exposed to moisture.

I use a poof with bar soap. Hubs just uses the soap and I don't see how that's enough "scrubbing."

@spaniellove: What are they called? DH was just talking about wanting to try them.
We use a washcloth with body wash.

@Boogs: Looks like they're called Salux. I always get mine from the Korean market but you can get them from Amazon too. Such a satisfying scrub with a little bit of body wash!
