When we moved our couch there was so much nastiness under there! Dust bunnies, crumbs, small toys, books..etc. -.-
I usually get a dry swifter duster and dust under the couch, but I guess I missed a lot. Haha
Hoping to keep under the couch clean at our new place.. 
Any tips?

Eek. Nothing right now to be honest, we have carpet and I really dont know if I could get anything under the couch to clean it! I will probably just wait till we move the couch......Is that gross??? ahahahha

@MrsBrewer: It probably is gross, but that's what we do too! We have hardwood, and I don't think I've ever gotten more than a few inches in from all the edges, unless the cleaning lady does it? I don't even know. And we have a dog that sheds, so I'm pretty sure there are dust and fur bunnies the size of actually bunnies under there. Same thing happens when I pull out the under the bed storage bins. I'm not housekeeper of the year.

The only way I'm able to clean under the couch is by moving it, then moving it back after I'm done. And that happens . . . never.

Luckily we have ceramic tile so it's easy to move the couch and then vacuum/mop under it. You wouldn't believe what builds up under there every other week (we have two cats and two dogs.) Ugh!

I just got a couch with fabric that hangs to the floor, and started pretending like 'underneath the couch' doesn't exist. I'd highly recommend it.

I never clean under the couch. When my husband vacuums he moves the couch and vacuums under it.

The only way to reach under couches (without moving it) is if your take the vacuum wand and even then it doesn't really suck up much! We removed the legs off our couch so that they sit on the ground. However, I'm sure there is a ton of bust bunnies, pet hair, etc in the crevice along the couch where they meet the floor that the vacuum doesn't pick up!

We have to move the couch to clean under it. I just use a regular broom and then mop. I have to do this though otherwise when I sit on the other couch I can see the dirt under it from the other side of the room and it irritates me

We just move the couch; but we have hardwood floors and only a loveseat vs. a full size sofa so that helps! Just push it backwards, clean floor with vacuum and then swiffer, then push couch back. We do this once a week or so.

Unless DH moves the couch out of the way, it doesn't happen. But we recently added a piece of furniture to the room and had to rearrange everything, and I ran the vacuum over the whole floor while we were moving things around. It wasn't that dirty under there!

I make DH move the couch so can vacumn underneath. It only happens twice a year!

I try to get DH to lift up the couch at least once a month. But you can't see under the couches so I don't sweat it too much.

Stick an empty wrapping paper roll on the end of you vacuum's hose, and then you can squish the end so it fits in tight spaces like under the couch!

Maybe use a vacuum hose under it from time-to-time? I should do that b/c I only just swiffer as well. There are flash cards stuck between two of the sections that I still need to fish out. I just swept out two little cars.

Uhhh, nothing! Occasionally we'll scoot the couch over vacuum up the dust bunnies, but that's rare, haha!
