Do you have one of those Shark sweepers? I've been using a broom and dustpan bc my dyson is too heavy and I'm lazy. I would like something cordless and lightweight

I use a Swiffer Sweeper Vac: http://www.walmart.com/ip/3921875?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&adid=22222222227009616781&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=42054013270&wl4=&wl5=pla&wl6=34874483230&veh=sem. I am too lazy to drag my Dyson out daily as well. It is very lightweight, and cordless. I highly recommend it!

If it's a specific mess, I either use the broom, or take our my mini bissell portable vaccuum. If it's just general upkeeping without having to take our the dyson, I use my roomba.

I like to use my old school broom, with a practically dry microfiber cloth.

I bought a Roomba with birthday money and it has been the BEST THING EVER! It runs MWF while we are at work, and sometimes on the weekends I'll run it on our way out somewhere. It works great for the daily messes / crumbs.

We have a central vac, and while it is awesome, it is a pain to get out daily. I sweep every day/every other day and vacuum about once a week. We have one of the central vac dust pans installed in the wall, which is pretty nice.

We just sweep up crumbs with a broom and then use the Swiffer spray mop with the wood cleaner. Easy peasy.

Swiffer vac for daily clean ups. I use it a lot, like 3x a day. It is easy and quick.

Broom for chunky things. Swiffer with the dry cloth for things tiny particles that the broom misses.
