What the eff do I do about this?? I used upholstery cleaner and alcohol, which removed a lot of it, but not all. Naturally, it's Sunday, so I can't reach the couch manufacturer. The fabric is a wool/polyester blend. Help!!!
This is the third time my husband's highlighters have gotten into the toddler's hands long enough to do some damage. I threw them away since he clearly isn't learning his lesson!

I was going to say rubbing alcohol but I see you’ve already tried it. What about a wet vac/carpet cleaner thing you can rent at the grocery store? We actually bought one because we use it so much

The Sharpie website recommends a remover called Amodex, so I'm headed to Lowe's in a little while to get some and try another round of cleaning. I think I will be contacting a sofa cleaning company first thing tomorrow. I'm going to ask them to also put stainguard on the couch when they're done.

@Iced Tea: I've had good luck using foaming carpet cleaner on my couch. good luck. What a nightmare!

This stuff has gotten black sharpie off my hard furniture really easily. Not sure about fabric but it is worth a try. I use a small amount on a microfiber cloth and scrub in small circles.

@Iced Tea: FYI I believe Amodex works best when the fabric is dry - be sure to read the instructions...they vary depending on some factors.
You can try higher concentration rubbing alcohol, but I'd be a little wary of staining. I was able to remove ceramics glaze (!?!?!) from a pair of my child's shorts using high concentration rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover, but it left a slight yellow tinge that I can't get out.
