I have been wanting to change my engagement ring setting since the day hubs proposed (long story involving terrible jeweler, bad memories, etc.) but didn't want to go through the hassle. But I asked hubs if for my birthday, anniversary and mother's day presents can combine for a new setting and he said he'd think about it. LOL - haven't heard back!

I do want to change my setting though. DH got me a new ring when I had LO/Mother's day so I feel silly changing it so soon.
Maybe i'll save it for Christmas/Push gift?

My first thought was new earrings or necklace, but Little Jumper is in a very grabby/pull-y stage... I'd hate for a brand new necklace to be ruined, or new earrings pulled out!

I'm lucky, I guess, Mother's Day, our anniversary and my birthday are all in the same month. I would really love another Coach purse that I saw when I bought my latest one a few weeks ago. He got a new iPhone and an iPad for his birthday so I am super hoping I get something great.

To not be at work! 5/13 is also my birthday so I told my boss that I would work so she could be off with her kids, but that it would mean her giving me two consecutive days off that week instead of spaced apart. She agreed. I'll use my two days off to take my mom out of town.

I don't know! My birthday is always close to Mother's Day...this year it's two days off. It seems like an appropriate year to celebrate somehow, but I'm not sure what we'll be doing.

@Rubies: that's EXACTLY what I did!!! we added up how much we would have spent for Mother's Day, a push present for #2, 7th anniversary, Christmas, and next Birthday and that was our budget! I LOVE MY NEW SETTING SO MUCH!!!

I really want a card from DH with a heartfelt message inside. He's not big into cards but I love them and prefer them over presents any day. As we'll be about 34 weeks pregnant with our first on Mother's Day this year, I'm really hoping he thinks of doing something like that. He's more the type to buy flowers or jewelry but I really just want a card. Here's hoping!
ETA: Breakfast in bed would not go awry either! He did that on Valentine's Day, along with a card and flowers, and it was such a sweet gesture - I loved it!

I want a woven wrap to carry LO in. He loves being carried and a woven wrap would make it easier to carry LO in the summer and lots more ways to wear him. And they're gorgeous!

@miss-spunkin: I have always loved charm bracelets! Right now I'm interested in the ones from Links of London... but I'm afraid the bracelets themselves will pinch the skin / arm hair. The fossil one is cute! I hope cheaper than the Tiffany bracelet?? Wagon Sr. looked into that (to add a charm each special occasion) but it's so crazy expensive. And he hates the Pandora bracelets with a passion. I think they can be cute if you choose the right charms.
I tell Wagon Sr. what I want. Haha. He complains that he never gets to surprise me, but I'd so much rather just get what I want and not have to fake liking something and then feel guilty for not using/wearing it.

@mrs. wagon: haha that happened our first Christmas married! He bought me gifts I didn't like. It was so rough, he obviously knew I didn't like it lol poor guy. Ever since then it's become habit, but I don't want to. I want him to be able to just buy me a gift, but I don't trust him lol
Oh the charm bracelet wasn't that expensive. The bracelets start at $35-ish and then you add on as many charms as you want. I'm not sure what it's made out of though.

I'm not a huge jewelry person but for my first mothers day I really want a piece of jewelry with LO's birthstone. Something I can add to for future kids.
Either a stacking band, necklace with pendant or anklet with pendant. But I want gold so it lasts.Prob won't happen bc it's $$$!
