I'll be 10 months pp when the class starts (at an indoor pool) and am not back to my pre-pregnancy weight, nor am I thrilled about wearing a swimsuit yet! Of course I imagine no one is wearing a bikini but how covered up are the moms generally?

I was just talking about this with a friend. She recommended wearing a rash guard over a bikini. She said she had on a regular swim top and it got pulled down.

When I went to one most women wore something like a tankini or a suit with a regular tank over top. I wore a full piece with swim shorts over top.

Most of the mums wear swim shorts and a rashguard top or shorts and one piece swimsuit... i wear the latter. we are all in the same boat.

I just wore a one piece Lablanca suit! Was super comfy and covered all the right places

Every mom at our swimming lessons wears a one-piece (indoor pool if that makes a difference).

There were mamas wearing bikinis and mamas in one pieces. Nobody was in a rash guard or the like. It was an indoor pool as well.
Since the kids are usually in the same age bracket all mamas are in the same boat body wise...

Most of the moms wore tankinis or one-pieces (some wore two pieces). I usually wore a tankini and shorts, because I wasn't comfortable with my body at that time.

I didn't know what to wear to ours when we started swim classes and was worried because all I had was a bikini. But when I showed up, I was relieved to see that the two other moms were in bikinis, too. (The rest of the parents were dads). So, I wore a bikini!

In our parent/tot class, I wear a one piece with swim skirt, one mom wears a two piece with tank top over, several moms wear one piece suits, and a few wear two piece suits. One grandpa occasionally wears a speedo, I'm told, and most dads wear trunks no tees.

Most of the moms seem to wear one pieces or tankinis, except for hottie-bo-bottie @Rainbow Sprinkles and a couple more moms. And there are a lot of dads who do the lessons at our Y, which is cool. I didn't see anyone in rash guards or non-swimsuit clothes. I wear a tankini.

I wore a tankini, but a rash guard wouldn't have been a bad idea. Baby N was intent on exposing my boobs most of the time.

i wore a bikini because my one piece was actually a bit more scandalous. no one cared. some people wore 2 pieces, others one pieces.

I wore a one piece with sturdy straps that didn't give me a wedgie or that had boob-popping out potential.
Some moms wore bikinis. No big deal, whatever you wear.

I used to take a baby I nannied to swim class and after the first class I got myself a one piece that she couldn't pull off me easily. It's hard to hold a baby in the water and keep your straps up.

Last week's swim class for my 28mo was the first with all dads, and we were all in trunks, but no t-shirts. Mums seem to wear one-pieces; don't think any swim class we've been to has had bikinis, though. At least, not for the dads!

In our 3 years of swim, I have seen pretty much all levels of suits/cover ups! Really, it's what you are comfortable in and what you don't mind getting rearranged or tugged at by baby hands.
I've had a couple one piece suits that made me feel really comfortable pp- one was from Target and one was from Lands End, they really knew how to suck everything in!!

Hmm, I must be the weirdo as I've always worn my bikinis! Once I started showing with DD2 though, around 20 weeks, I started wearing my maternity swimsuit, which was a tankini, for the rest of my pregnancy. I'm back to bikinis now though when I take the girls swimming.
