I normally just wear skinny jeans with my boots but I bought some maternity leggings from gap and now I need something to pair them with. I can't do hugely oversized sweaters because I feel like they make me look huuuuuuuge. Any suggestions to keep my caboose covered but not look massive?

Old Navy carries tanks they call "Tamis" - hybrid tank and camisole. They're nice and long. I also picked up some Liz Lange Maternity tanks at Target.

@Ash: Um you can totally wear them after baby!!!! They're just long, stretchy tanks and I love them 
I wore them between pregnancies without feeling frumpy at all. They're just my leggings tanks- pregnant or not!

@sweetooth: Oh I also bought a denim tunic thing at Target (maternity) that I love and wear with leggings. I also plan on wearing it after LO is born. I don't wear it with the denim tie- I just use a different skinny belt right on top of my bump that I already have. I think it'll be a really good transitional piece post-partum! The only problem is I don't think it'll be very BF friendly

I definitely need to consider having some things that are BF friendly. Especially considering that it will be the holidays when I'm BF and there are going to be people around.

@sweetooth: It is a lot cuter in person too And YES! After E was born last year I realized that none of my clothes were nursing friendly and it made things really difficult. I'm trying to keep that in mind this time!

@Ash: another vote for the target maternity tanks! I still wear them 1 year pp! They are awesome and great layering tanks. you could also try gap tall sizes. The shirts are overall longer in length. But the sleeves are longer too.

I'm a fan of the Target tanks as well. To be honest, I was wearing them before I got pregnant because I am 5'11" and it's hard to find tanks that are long enough.

i do the same as @stine_ciro! i wear dresses with leggings all the time, pregnant or not. esp dresses that otherwise would be a bit on the shorter side.

- long t shirt or tank with button up and cardigan Over it. I foundy long t shirts at Nordstrom rack.
- long flowy blouses- also Nordstrom rack - they're long enough to cover my butt!
- long oversized cardigans with tanks underneath!

I looked terrible when I tried to wear maternity leggings, so much so that my husband asked me if I was planning to leave the house dressed like that.
I did have one successful outfit, that centered around a pair of riding style leggings from Zara with a cowl neck tunic sweater from H&M, though.
