I wish I could plant a garden. But there's no way I'll have time before or after work on weekdays to tend it.

A few of my friends are joining the Junior League, but it's a huge time commitment the first year. With two kids who need me to put them to sleep every night at 6:45, I just can't try to join right now.

Garden would be awesome. Every year I buy a few plants and dream of getting fresh produce from my backyard all summer, but I can never devote enough time to it. Maybe if we didn't have three dogs...
I really wish I could sew, but every time I bring out my sewing machine, my LO goes nuts and wants to stick her fingers everywhere. She doesn't nap anymore and needs me next to her in bed to fall asleep, so I just don't have the alone time for it right now.

Doing a knitting class/free knitting time. I miss having a night where I can go and knit. Part of it is that I had a falling out with my previous yarn store for a few reasons. I haven't found an alternative to it. Also, I want to be there for LO at bedtime because I work. So, it'll be awhile until I find something new like that.

I wish I could take a regular scheduled yoga class. But none of the class times work with my schedule, unless I want to get up bright an early on a Saturday... and I don't want to do it that bad

I wish I could go back to Crossfit but since we moved to a town without one I know I don't have time to get there regularly.
I also wish I could go back to my volunteer job but I can't spare a 5 hour chunk a week to cover a shift.

Read!
I've managed to read three or four novels so far this year, but I'm so busy I usually end up not being able to finish the books I get from the library.

@Mrs. Pen: Same! I got so much reading done when I was pregnant and I miss it.

@mediagirl: Write an article or a blog. In law school I thought surely I would have time to practice AND write! Nope. Haha.

I want to learn to work with polymer clay! The issue is more money than time though. I know that if I like it, I'll want to buy ALL the things for it!

Quilting! I made a few modern quilts back in college after being inspired by a textile arts class, and then my sewing machine broke and I never fixed it. I know I don't have the time or space to invest in reinvigorating that hobby, but someday I'd love to have a sewing room and a great fabric stash.

Exercise more.
I work in the morning, my husband leaves in the afternoon for work, I'm home with the kids and do naps/dinner/baths/bedtime, and then it's 10 pm and the day is gone.

going to the gym.... I do daycare pick ups and drop offs and we dont get home until after 6pm. I've been walking at lunch, but it doesnt compare to going to a kickboxing class or just getting drenched in sweat during a hard run on a machine.

I workout regularly at home but I'd love to have the time to actually go to the gym/take a class. But the gym DH joined doesn't have childcare and his schedule isn't reliable so I'd never be able to go with any regularity. The gym DH is a part of is like 5 minutes from our house and I don't think he'd be willing to change and we can't afford two separate memberships.
I'd also like to cook/bake more but I just done have the time. Or the desire to clean up after myself lol

I used to take ceramics lessons but there's no time for that anymore. I was missing yoga but my employer recently instituted a policy giving us 3 hours of work time per week to exercise so now I can go to mid-day classes during the week. Yippee!

Learn to sew. I can hand quilt but don't know how to use a machine.
Blog, I bought a URL and have posted a couple times, but I'd like to do it regularly.

@Torchwood: I work with polymer clay (well, I do when I have time, so ahem, I don’t much right now!). It’s addicting.
I wish I had more time for pleasure reading – novels, etc.
I wish I had time to really sew. I bought myself a nice sewing machine on cyber Monday and it’s still in the box. I sew a little, and just do it by hand at night.
I wish I had time to make my polymer clay miniature food.

@twodoghouse: I had to drop out of junior league due to the time commitment - and I was single with no kids! It is a HUGE time commitment. Of course a ton of fun, but I was not being realistic when I signed up.

@youboots: @yoursilverlining: sewing is seriously addicting!!! So many of E's naps and our evening time gets used up that way. But sometimes, it's so much more relaxing than watching tv or something.

A weekly fitness class, like yoga or Zumba or something. DH never gets home early enough and our weekends are way too busy.
