Right now I wish I was more handy with home improvements. I'm working on it, but I just don't think I have the talent! I have some shelves I want to build and I'm worried And decorating, we just moved into a new house and I don't really have an eye for décor. I find ideas on Pinterest but they never look the same when I'm done trying.

I would love to be able to play the piano. My dad is amazing at it and is already planning on teaching my daughter but I wish he would have taught me too!

I might try my hand at quilting this fall. DD needs a bigger blanket and I have lots of fabric scraps. I am definitely not getting any special equipment though, cause I don't have time to go to a craft store and pick them out... so it may end up a total mess.

I'd like to learn/have time to do more advanced baking. Make more of our bread, croissants, better pie crust, etc. I have such an interest in it but no time.

@erinbaderin: Gah...you and me both on the small talk. I freeze up.

I also wish I could play the piano. I can read music and have played the clarinet, but it's very different when it comes to the piano.

I also wanted to learn how to crochet for a long time. I taught myself (with the help of youtube videos and a nice book from a craft store), and I love it. I'm only really into making blankets and hats...I wish I could figure out how to make clothes, but I don't have the time right now.

I wish I knew how to decorate, in general and for the holidays. I tend to put out the exact same items in the exact same places each year for the holidays and then the rest of the time my rooms are pretty blank/bare. I had the hardest time coming up with a nursery and even then its just colors I like together rather then any real decorating.

I wish I could speak another language. I took four years of Spanish in high school and never tried that hard and was never good at it.

I also wish I could sew, like properly sew with a machine. I can hand sew simple things and I’m crafty, and my mom taught me some basics. I probably will learn once the kids are older and I have a little more time to think.

Speak French. It's Canada's second language and it's popular where I live. I don't think I'll ever learn, but we're planning on putting or kidsnin French immersion in school so they'll be able to teach me a bit...and then be way above my French level very quickly.

@GoGoSnoGirl: yes to organization! I struggle to keep our home organized and wish it came more naturally!

I'd love to learn how to blow glass and make my own vases and bowls and what not. I used to paint and draw a lot before having lo but not ever now, there's just no time, I'd like to get back to being creative. I've always wanted to learn to blow glass but probably not going to happen for ten years, I'd love to learn with dh, he's a talented artist, I know he'll be really good, plus he's huge so it'll be easy for him where I know it'll be physically challenging for me, but it'll be awesome and exciting!
