Following...although it's probably too late for me since the money has been spent & the party is Saturday.
My friend did a candy bar...she wished she wouldn't have spent the money on all the special colored candy.

I wish I didn't fret that my party wouldn't look like pinterest
the guests enjoyed the food (basics - sandwiches, sides, etc), socialized and hung out. I made the cupcakes (plain old white frosting!!) and a small cake from a pyrex dish for LO. I had a store bought banner, hung her monthly photos, and made a chalkboard but I didn't go super crazy!

I wish I had thought about the fact that giving a 12 month old cake 30 minutes before her bedtime is a very bad idea. Not only was she tired, so she rubbed red frosting into her eyes, but she also was up until 9pm. Her bedtime is 6:30!!!!!!

I wish we ordered more wings because my FIL ate them all!
Everything else went ok with our small party!

Won't really help many ladies with upcoming parties (unless you live south of the equator), but it was SO DAMN HOT for C's party. I wish we had invested in misters from Home Depot or something, because it was bad.
Also, it might have been cheaper for us to rent out a space at a park instead of renting tables, chairs, and canopies.
