I bought LO a costume, but he's only 5 months. What do I actually do with him on Halloween? Just dress him up and go about my day? What are you planning to do?

We dressed her up, took some pictures and she sat outside with us while she handed out candy before it was her bed time.

We're going to a fall festival at church before Halloween, and she'll wear her costume. Then on Halloween we're going trick or treating with my brother, SIL, and their kids. She obviously won't be eating any candy, but I want to show my adorable little bug off.

I'm getting together with a friend and her baby and taking pictures that's it.

C was 10 days old on her first Halloween. I bought a witch hat hair bow on etsy & she wore it in her hair. It snowed that Halloween. I definitely wasn't taking her outaide!

Mine will be not quite 3 months old. She has a parrot costume since I had my own pirate costume lying around. We're going to meet up with her cousins and take some pictures and maybe go with them to a couple houses trick or treating since they're going in the neighbourhood we grew up in.

Dress him up warm and hand out candy. He doesn't have a real costume. I'm lame.

Last year DS was 7 weeks. He wore a costume for pictures and to hang out with me while DH passed out candy, and my parents took my oldest trick-or-treating around our neighborhood.

Scribble was about 2 months old on HW last year. I just dressed him up and his grandparents came over and we ate pizza and handed out candy. This year he will be 14 months and we are going trick-or-treating downtown in the afternoon then will visit the grandparents and the great-grandparents in the evening.

Last year M was 1 month and we managed to put 2 different hats on her in between the colic screaming. Ugh.
This year M will be 13 months but it's hard for me to picture her trick or treating without walking or talking. She'll probably just give out candy with us until her bedtime. Maybe we'll take her to our neighbor's houses because they'd like to see her costume. We also have a playgroup on that day so I'm sure all the kids will be in costume.

We have a ton of kids in the neighborhood so we're going to dress up and sit on the porch to pass out candy. Hopefully it's not too cold!

We took pics at the pumpkin patch, she wore it at daycare, and at DH's Halloween parade at work.

There's a cute little costume parade downtown...we'll head there and call it good. I love their costumes, but honestly, I'm way more into cute pumpkin patch pictures

We will dress her up if we think the TOT will start before bedtime. But she is in her pjs by 630.......otherwise we just do pictures! I think she is wearing a different costume to day care.

I'm going to dress my 4 month old up as a black cat and I'm going to be a witch we're going to sit on the front porch and hand out candy, and my neighborhood also has a Halloween parade

Jax was 5 months his first halloween. I dressed him up and and he "helped" hand out candy. All the little girls ooh and ahh-ed over him, so that was fun

Lol. LO was 6 months. I sent her to daycare in a Halloween tutu outfit. Put her costume on at night for a few pictures. Put a Halloween sleeper on her and then she went to bed!
Haven't decided if I'm going to buy a Halloween outifts and sleeper this year yet! She has a non Halloween orange and white sleeper already so I might just put that on her.

Thanks for the ideas! I think I'm going to have some friends and babies over for lunch and then let LO help pass out candy until bedtime.
