@NaturallyCathy: haha, no, that's totally cool! Maybe I'll just bring the activity mat (which already has stuff attached) and the books. The books are actually for his bedtime routine - not actual toys.

As for diapers, I'm sure he doesn't really need that many - I was just going to bring a package. It's hard to judge how many he really needs, because some days he goes through as little as six diapers, and sometimes it's double that! I want to make sure they have enough, just in case. Plus I'm going to be there all day Friday, so I'll need some for then too.

As far as clothes go - I figure more is better, right? I'm mostly concerned about blow-outs. He usually goes through at least two outfits at daycare, plus a sleeper for night. But I also wanted to include a couple extra sleepers in case it's cool during the day. Maybe I'm just being crazy?

@NaturallyCathy: haha, I hear you. I'll probably just pack as much as will actually fit in the diaper bag. If that means I have to cut out some clothes, that's what will happen!

@looch: I wasn't going to provide bath stuff because we don't give him a bath everyday, so we were just going to give him one tonight and then we'll give him one on Sunday ourselves. And I figure if they need to wash him at all, they can use their own washcloths and just use water without soap. Does that seem okay?

@NaturallyCathy: I tend to use our baby washcloths to cover his penis while I'm doing a diaper change! That's what they're for, right??

@looch: Hmm, good point. I might have some travel baby wash I could pack.

@ALV91711: haha, glad I'm not the only one that thinks so! And I tend to overpack too - but I figure it's better to have too much stuff than not enough, right??

@sheskrafty: I actually asked and they said they didn't think they would need it!

@sheskrafty: Thank you!!! I'm nervous to be away from my baby so long (mostly because I'm afraid he'll hate the boob when I get back), but I'm excited for Hubs and I to FINALLY get some alone time together!!!

@Smurfette: Good point. I'll put the bath stuff on the list!

@travellingbee: Oh hmm! I wouldn't have thought to pack the nose frida, but guess it wouldn't hurt to have it just in case!

@mewtill: Yep! On my instructions I'm leaving them, I'm including the dosage of Tylenol and how often! And good idea about the extra pacifier - I should pack at least two!
