We always talk about how cute they are, but it's not all roses. My little LO whines a lot. He constantly is making some kind of noise and it drives me a little bonkers. However, he laughs and smiles so easily that you can easily change the noise.
The oldest one is into lying a lot lately. About things that don't even matter. I wish I could get him to stop.

DS refuses to take a sippy cup or hold his bottle at 11 months. He can (he can also feed himself pretty well with a spoon) but he gets frustrated when I don't hold it for him and it drives me bonkers! haha

The whining for sure. Also not listening when he said he would. Okay, not surprised there. Oh, and when he wants something he will say it over and over and over and over again. I guess that is considered whining! My youngest doesn't drive me nuts yet!

Whining, of course. But also, he stiiiillllll puts everything into his mouth! He's 3! Today I caught him sucking on a rock!! Blechhh!! On top of that, he also sucks his fingers, so I guess he has major oral fixation?

@Mrs. Cowgirl: Our oldest is 5 and is constantly still sticking things in his mouth. He swallowed a lego the other day, everything always has chew marks in it, and he bites his toenails! ick!

Her lovey is whatever shirt I happen to be wearing at the time. She twists it around her thumb and then sucks on it. I go through several shirts a day. It's maddening.

The whining for sure! He's at the point where he knows exactly what he wants but doesn't have the words yet, so everything sounds like a high pitched huh? sound.

@Mrs. Cowgirl: I have a psych degree. I'm aware. LOL! He only does it when he is concentrating. DH plays with his tongue when he's concentrating as well. I think his issue is more genetic.
