Mine makes the same noise as when she's complaining. If you don't see her face to see her smile, you can't tell if she's happy or sad.

LO's laugh is more like a chuckle. And it's husky. My LO has a husky laugh! I think it's cute (obviously, I'm her mother!)...But she has a screeching high-pitched shriek when she's super excited.

haha. cute! her laugh will definitely change in the coming months. i watch old videos of the LO and her laugh is completely different now!
my LO has a very happy laugh. she loves to crack up. "dying of laughter" is a good way to describe it when she laughs.

@Andrea: Cuuuuuuute! My LO is really serious and doesn't think a lot of things are funny. You know how sometimes you give a pity laugh to someone who tells a lame joke or something? LO does that to me a lot.
