She "talks" in her crib until we go get her. Once we get her out, she runs all over the house, usually naked, because we didn't get clothes on her before she threw a fit. LOL

"mama, let's go eat breakfast! Mama, get up! Mama, I'm going to pull you up! Mama, I want yooouuu to get up! NOW!"
Every. Morning.

Well DD isn't quite a toddler yet -- 1 more month to go! ...but if she makes it through the entire night in her crib, then she usually just plays happily in her crib until we get her... or until she drops all of her binkies on the floor outside of her crib, and then she cries for us to come and get her.

My husband goes to fetch her, and she nurses for a while. Then we let her roam around our room for a few minutes while we wake up, and she presses the buttons on the monitor and such. Then she starts listing her demands - Up! Orange! Blues! Jacket shoes outside! And we eventually go downstairs and start breakfast.

She wakes up after the baby, so I'm always up already. She wakes up starving (and always has) and eats some fruit while I cook breakfast,

DS pitches a fit until we go in his room to get him. I have no idea why. He used to wake up so happy and would just talk to himself until we came in.

She plays in her crib. She tries to unzip her sleep sack, babbles, etc. When she says, "up" I know she wants to get out and start the day.

"Food! Need food! Hungry!" Said while stumbling into the kitchen and parking himself by the fridge (he sleeps in a floor bed and can open his door).
I know the drill, so I try to be prepared for LO to storm the kitchen. I'm waiting for the war whoop that precedes the march to the refrigerator now, in fact!

He gets up, goes downstairs, into the kitchen and tries to pour himself a drink. After he goes right to play with his cars and we have to struggle to get him dressed for the day.
