I have an American Girl doll for her, but won't give it to her until she's much older. As far as baby dolls go, I haven't even begun researching them because I think it'll be another year or two before she will appreciate one and not just chew on it.

C has this one, which is her favorite. We didn't get it until she was like 1 though. She carries it around and calls it her baby now.

@lawbee11: I have seen lots of posts on blabla dolls.. But I'm not sure I'm in LOVE with them..

@littlek: Ohhh we do have a blabla doll for her that she actually loves. It's so soft and her face lights up when she sees it. We have Splash the Cat.

@lawbee11: what size did you get? This may sound silly but I'm not a cat person.. Are the other ones cute?

@littlek: We have the mini. It's still a good size for her to grab and play with. I think the regular would've been difficult for her to handle as an infant. We'll probably get her a regular one when she's a little older. I haven't seen any of the other ones in person, but Suzette the Fox was my second choice!

@littlek: We the Suzette the Fox (probably the small size) but R has zero interest in it. Shopaholic has numerous for her daughter, you can always wall her about them.
She has some baby doll my grandma got her for Christmas. It isn't cute and R doesn't play with it. I am thinking for her 2nd bday we will get her one.

@looch: Do you want me to wall you my address? It is a cute doll!!

We have a few of the Corolle dolls and she just got Anna & Elsa dolls. She's obsessed with the Frozen ones and doesn't pay attention to the others.

@Smurfette: I think it's such an underappreciated doll! I tried to buy one for a gift for a first birthday party and I got an eyeroll, so I thought they weren't cool enough or something, lol.

@looch: they have a boy stella doll too! I'll probably get one for my LO soon!

My LO had very little interest in any doll until just before 18 months. We have a Disney Baby Mulan, an old one of mine when I was a kid and a soft cloth one. She likes and plays with them all about the same. She has a sock monkey and a few other stuffed animals and she prefers the dolls to them.

Just a Cabbage Patch doll for now. She's really rough with it so I don't want her to get her anything nicer until she's a little older (she's almost 2.5 right now).

LO didn’t have any interest in dolls until almost 2 years old. She is now currently obsessed with her “babies” though!!
She has these two Corelle dolls:

She also had this one but paid zero attention to it: http://us.corolle.com/elf-grenadines-heart-463.html
She also has a super annoying baby that cries, and which will shortly be “misplaced” into the trashcan by me.
Oh, and we have a bunch of Little People sets, but I don’t know if they really count as dolls or not. I also bought her an American Girl doll, but she won’t get that for several more years.

I got my son a Corelle doll and we also have a Berenger baby.
For newborns I like those little dolls that are plush and can be stuffed into a peanut. So cute.

At nearly 3, LO isn't really interested in dolls. She has several and will play with them some, but she's more interested in her blocks and colors. She has a bitty baby from American Girl. We gifted it to her for Christmas when she was 16 months old.

She has my old Waldorf doll made by my grandma, and my old cabbage patch doll. I love the bunting style Waldorf dolls for little ones. I probably won't buy her any more dolls until we do the American Girl doll thing around age 6 or 7, unless she is super into it.
I like the Waldorf dolls because they are simple and usually have neutral expressions, which makes room for open ended play. Also, my mom knit new hair for my doll, and we kept it short so the doll is gender neutral.

E loves her Willow Doll but we gave it to her when she was one. I was surprised that she was so interested in it.
We also gave her a Corolle doll to prep her for the new baby.

She just has a bunch of random dolls: Cabbage Patch doll, Baby Alive, ect.
If she wants one I will get her an American Doll since I always wanted one growing up.

I just let her pick one from Walmart (a baby doll) a couple months ago. She is 21 months. She had a plush one but she didn't care much for it. I think she wanted a plastic one since that's what her brother has and she always wanted to play with it.

She has one of the American Girl bitty babies, but I'm keeping it hidden away until she's less destructive. She's 2 and tries to color on everything, so I think it's best for us to wait a bit
