We all know that the only way to know for sure if you are pregnant is a test. But for fun, what early pregnancy symptom clued you off to the fact you were pregnant?

I didn't have a symptom tip me off really, but the first symptom I noticed once I got my BFP was a very pronounced metallic taste in my mouth. It lasted for like 2ish weeks then was gone!

I was told that my sore boobs were a sign, I just didn't believe it. The nausea tipped me off and that's when I tested. ps...I see a theme with your posts recently.

Definitely exhaustion...both times I could not believe how tired I was and knew something was up.

Crazy, crazy dreams!! I hardly ever remember my dreams but with both pregnancies now, I started having crazy dreams several days before AF was due and they were so incredibly vivid! The first time, I sort of wondered if it might mean I was pregnant; the second time, that was the clue that made me test!

I voted exhaustion, but the biggest clue was that I had a spell of vertigo! We were at Wagon Jr.'s preschool open house and I got so dizzy and nauseous and felt like the room was spinning. I felt rude leaving so we sat down in an empty room... Then ended up leaving. A week later I tested and !

Not exactly a pregnancy symptom but I had clear implantation cramping a few days after I ovulated. I would get other symptoms before my period anyway so couldn't rely on those.

@MsLipGloss: damn, I forgot that one. When I was pregnant with B, I had an interview and I couldn't zip up my skirt. I was like WTF.. and then afer the interview I was crazy emotional. Funny enough, it still took me about a week to figure out I might be pregnant.

@littlek: I was just uber squishy for no reason for longer than normal (I had been bloated for a week or so as opposed to just a day or two from, say, too much salt) . . . I was on my way to a NYE party and thought *yanno, I wonder . . . *
ETA: I didn't get it right away either!

@Cherrybee: I didn't realize I had pregnancy symptoms until after I realized I was pregnant.

I didn't really have any symptoms that I didn't normally have on other months.

I have PVC (pretty much irregular heartbeat that may cause me chest pains). Every time I'm pregnant my chest pains are frequent and feels constant. This is due to the increased blood flow from pregnancy. This was also the big symptom from my first pregnancy that led me to take a bunch of tests to diagnose my PVC.

No real symptoms that tipped me off but, out of the blue, I got super sick a couple days before. Sore throat, runny nose, nonstop sneezing...

Crazy metallic taste, I felt like I was sucking on pennies all day. So gross.

Metallic taste for my first pregnancy. No symptoms for my second!

i had some pinching right in my belly button the day before I got my BFP. Looking back, I had crazy heartburn around 9-10dpo but I thought I ate too much Valentine's day chocolate.

Other - cramps like AF was about to arrive but I was only like 7dpo so I knew something was off!

I had 2: a wave of nausea and a pinching sensation that I knew was implantation.

I had a spot of implantation bleeding and also a day where I just did not feel right.

The first time I had a lot of the symptoms but didn't realize they were symptoms til after I got my positive and with this one I didn't think I was pregnant because I tested two days with bfn @ 9dpo and 10dpo and so I told DH on 11dpo that I didn't think this was our month cause I didn't feel pregnant and went back to bed that morning I slept til 12 which wasn't normal for me plus I had a crazy vivid dream that I took a test and it was positive so once I got up I tested one more time expecting a bfn and actually got my bfp

I was super, super exhausted. We weren't even trying, we were PREVENTING, but I still had an inkling and I was right. And then it took, like, 3 weeks to get a +, during which I'd talked myself back into "No, you're not pregnant, your cycle is just all out of whack because of losing weight, blah, blah, blah." And then I felt kind of crampy, like I was getting my period and was all, "FINALLY!" and took another test just to trick that bitch into coming to town- and it was instantly positive and I burst into tears with shock, lol.

I needed to vote 3 times because it was different with all 3 pregnancies. With my first, it was serious nausea and huge, sore boobs, before I even took a test. With my second, the only indication (besides missed period) was when I went running, I felt super tired and dizzy even though I was normally in good shape. With my third....nothing except extremely vivid dreams of taking a pregnancy test and seeing two lines.

I tested before I had any early symptoms.... The only thing 'off' about the week before I tested was that I had 1-2 nights of feeling hot and having night sweats. But I had that in the 2ww before with no success, so I dunno... After I tested, the earliest symptom I had was tender/sore breasts around 5weeks. Nausea/ increased hunger started around 5.5-6 weeks.

With this pregnancy, my very first clue was that the veins in my boobs got enormous, about 3 DPO. Then, my nipples got big and dark. This was my first clue with my other two pregnancies as well. They didn't get big this time, like they did the last two times, but later in the week, they started to feel very heavy.
I was trying to play that all down as post-O symptoms, but at 9 DPO, I got a sore throat and was so, so nauseous I couldn't function. I felt vague implantation cramps at 10 DPO and had a BFN at 11 DPO. Tired, too. I got a squinter at 12 DPO and a positive beta the next day!

I voted other, I didn't really have any symptoms. But, after I got my BFP, I realized that I had been super emotional, my boobs were sore (normal PMS symptoms), and I had been oddly crampy for a week. I also got super sick when I found out - head cold, cough, fever...

Dizziness/faint . It was my first symptom with DD and when I was walking trough the mall with DH and thought I was going to pass out, I knew. I was only 4 weeks!

I noticed I had more exhaustion than usual.
My FIRST symptom was my dry skin turned into super oily skin. That started pretty much THE day I got pregnant, although I didn't know it at the time.
