DS1 is 3.5 and super into Umizoomi and the Leap Frog Letter Factory series. He knows all his letters and sounds almost entirely from it! I don't mind him watching them at all (in moderation, of course). What shows do you like for your LO?

I like Sesame Street the best! With all the new recs on screen time and this generation of parents taking it more seriously, they've shortened their episodes to 30 minutes versus and hour, which I also like.

@Mrs. Sunshine: I love Sesame Street but DS never got too into it.

LO used to love those two. She watched all PBS Kids shows. For awhile Peg + Cat and Odd Squad were our faves. Now it is Ready, Jet, Go.

@travellingbee: We just discovered Team Umizoomi a few months ago and DS1 LOVES it. I'm so glad too...while Blaze and the Monster Machines tried to teach some things, Team Umizoomi is a little more focused.

I love Daniel Tiger. I know it's not educational in the traditional sense, but I love the messaging/songs. I feel like it does a great job of teaching empathy, sharing, helping others, etc.

I like wild kratts. It has enough adventure to hold the kids attention but I also love all the animal adaptations and ecology the cram into that show

@looch: I was just about to say Sid the Science Kid. DS #1 learned so much from that show. After watching the shows on repeat, you realize that it's minimal animation and only changes a bit per the lesson since the episodes are structured the same way.

Yay for Sid!!That was a huge favorite too. LO also likes Nature Cat right now. Not high on my educational tv priorities but she loves it and she is always asking and drawing about north, east, west etc.

I love Daniel Tiger too! I can usually find a topic that my son is going thru and we'll watch that episode. We also like word world where the animals are made up of the different letters.
