Making any special crafts or foods? I see all sorts of fun ideas on pinterest, but we don't celebrate Easter. Just wanted to know what you ladies are doing for your holiday!

@artbee: This is my first year celebrating Passover and not Easter! We had a mock Seder this week in my Intro to Judaism class, but everything still feels so unfamiliar... I look forward to forming family traditions for this holiday, but I am still just getting the basics down. What does your family do to celebrate Passover?

@NYCaliMama: so much fun stuff! The nests sound so cute.
@chopsuey119: love asparagus! Hope you have a nice dinner
@MrsBrewer: love love love flowers! Always makes the house seem happier.
@Witz: yay for celebrating passover! I don't blame you for being overwhelmed, there's a lot of history and traditions to know! I do two different seders now, one with my family and one with dhs. But they're very similar. My mom makes the meal, sets out the Seder plate with everything on it, the cup for Elijah, matzo, etc. My dad takes charge of the Seder. Everyone gets a haggada and we go around he tells different people to read different things. The youngest does the four questions, and that's usually me. After we finish with that, we eat! First its matzo ball soup, then brisket with potatoes, kugel, etc. Some time during dinner my dad snuck away to hide the afikomen. Your supposed to hide one and see which kid can find it first, but my dad hid a piece for each kid and we all got a prize. Usually something like cute pj's.
Hope you have a good Seder! I'm happy to answer any questions you have
