One of LO's newest words is "mess". So now he loves to make a mess by dumping something all over the floor and then excitedly yell "A mess! A mess!"

We had a young baseball player stop at our house selling something and DH was talking to him and his mom. My LO very loudly goes "what's the boy doing here?" And I explain that daddy is buying something from him and she goes "Get outta here boy, we don't want it." I was mortified but his mom was laughing, so at least she brushed it off.

(Disclaimer, she calls all boys she doesn't know "boys" and all girls "girls." If she does know them she ads it to the end of their name "mommy girl" "daddy boy" "papa boy" its her new thing.)

If we happen to be watching TV with her around, if she sees a fast food chicken commercial (for some reason it's only chicken) she says "mmm, snack!" lol she's 13 months & snack was her first word

My DD at 17 months is repeating us a lot but never on command. She only does it on her terms when she feels like it. I can't even bribe her with treats. Last Sunday, I was asking her and coaxing her to say all of our usual words like "thank you, yes more please, I am hungry" but not a peep from her. Then I dropped something in the kitchen and I said "shit!" Then DD comes behind me and says so clearly "shit, shit"...."shit, shit". I had to control my laughter and I told her "No no don't say that!" LOL

Instead of asking "what's that/this?" LO has started asking "what's this all about?" For everything. It cracks me up hearing "hey! What's this all about?"

We have a fisher price ride on you that plays several different songs when you push the different buttons. The other night, C was obsessed with Pop Goes the Weasel. She would push the red button for it, then get into her dance position, head and hands on the ground, butt up in the air, and pretty much twerk for the whole song. When it ended she would stand up, push te button again, and twerk again. She did it for like five minutes straight and I was dying laughing.

We were in Mass and DH and I were holding hands for the Lord's Prayer and LO FREAKED out and started hitting DH until he let go. LO grabbed my hand away. It was hysterical.

My son has started planking all the time and it kills me!

I asked LO to do something yesterday and she looked at me sternly and said: "say please!"

He has recently discovered what I call his "man voice" - kind of reminds me of the Tim Allen home improvement grunt.
