L learned how to open and close the kitchen drawers yesterday! I don't know if it's brag-worthy, but she had the proudest look on her face when she looked up at me to see if I saw the drawer of treasures she just opened... haha. It was so cute!
@littlek: That is something I look forward to SO much! I can't wait til she starts asking for books!!!

She has learned to pull herself up standing in the crib. So she is standing, happy, and smiling when I get her in the morning. So cute! She is so proud of herself every time she pulls herself up.

LO (13 months) looks at me with the goofiest smile and yells "Cheeeee." As in "cheese," which we always say to try to get him to smile for pictures. Melts my heart every time!

My husband was out of town this past weekend & when he came home J was nursing. He came in and gave her a kiss, so she unlatched & when she realized who it was, she started shaking her fists all excited & laughing. Then she reached for him & kept laughing & smiling. It's the first time she's ever done something like that.

I went to pick up DS yesterday from daycare and the director was holding him while we were catching up on that day's activities. In the middle of the conversation, DS reached out to me with both hands as if he was coming to me and wanted me to hold him. I totally died right there. He's only 15 weeks so it could be a total fluke, but I don't care!!! haha!

Yesterday in the car I was talking about the new baby with DD (who is 3.5 years old). She told me that she is going to hold the new baby so that my tummy can get better (I'll be having a c-section and we have discussed how I'll be sore and need help). I was so proud of her! It was so sweet

Aww these are so sweet! LO realized she can see me in the mirror in the car and we sat in the driveway for about 10 minutes waving to each other and cracking up! It was awesome

@MamaBehr: That is just adorable!!
Umm, well, what can't I brag about this week? E is doing all manner of new, awesome stuff!
She is smiling loads now - she greets me from her naps and night sleep with a big, happy smile! She is sitting up in her bumbo chair and has started rolling front to back. She is so strong - she pulls herself up to a standing position when you hold her hands (I was trying to teach her to sit but oh well!) and can maintain it for a good 30 seconds or so, as long as she is propped up. She has learned to swipe at and grab her hanging toys and can grip and shake her rattle, which is so cute. She has learned turn the pages of her fabric book and is making all kinds of new sounds now! I'm a PROUD mummy, can you tell?!!!!

We were reading her an alphabet book and her dad was saying "quail" and complaining that the bird in teh picture was not actually a quail, well she decided to add "quail" to her vocabulary and said it over and over and over It was cute, because it's just not a word you expect from a 13 month old!

Yesterday after she got home from daycare, her dad was holding her and when she saw me she smiled reached her arms out to me for the first time. Probably was one of the happiest moments of my life.

@Cherrybee: Woww!! She is so strong! Love it!!
@autumnlove: dawww!
Let's see... I've posted about this on a couple other boards but still! She LOVES sitting up! She gets the biggest cheesy grin on her face when we pull her into sitting position, and now when she's in her car seat or stroller she is constantly trying to pull herself up. It's kind of adorable

Ladies first.. Lmw:
She fed me a goldfish. She fed me another goldfish. Then she picked up her blankie and tried to feed me the corner she sucks on.

Last night I was having a tough night so WS told him to give me a hug. He came over and actually cuddled with me for a few minutes and said "I love you so much Mommy". All the bad stuff melted away immediately!

He walked yesterday!!!!!! All day-- taking at least 5-6 steps either walking toward someone or something.
He's been obsessed with standing and has done random 2-3 steps for the past month so we knew it was probably coming, but it's still SO SURREAL seeing my lil babe walk!

P has started saying "honey" after everything because I call her honey a lot, and use it at the end of sentences ("Time to go, honey", "Let's eat dinner, honey"). So, it will be "More fishies, honey" or "seat, honey". And, when she is first put into her bed for bedtime, she cries "I love you, honey". It's super cute.

So many things lately! He has started sitting up a little, his giggles have gotten audible, and he rolls over and over til he reaches the toy he has spotted and wants. My FAVORITE is that when I get home from work, he gets the biggest smile on his face and reaches for me. Melt my heart!

Yesterday morning, he was so happy in his crib with two pacifiers. One was in his mouth. The other one he was banging around in his hand like Mardi Gras beads. So hilarious and cute.

@bpcmarj: OMG that is adorable!!!!!! My LO stood by himself for a few seconds yesterday after pulling up on me and letting go. I was giddy with pride! I had him do it again so I could video tape it and send it to all his grandparents. also last week he learned to push up to sitting and he flails his arms and screeches like he is saying "yay!" when he does. Oh I love that boy!

These are so sweet! I was nursing M while watching tv a few days ago and she made a squeal so I looked down at her and she gave me a huge grin. Then I looked back at the tv and she squealed again then smiled when I looked down at her. She did this several times and it melted my heart!

We took DD's paci away, so putting her to bed takes forever now. One of us usually has to stay in her room or by the door until she finally falls asleep. The other night, I thought she was asleep, but as I get up to leave, I hear "I don't know" repeated over and over and over again. It took everything in me to not laugh out loud.

Baby D is off oxygen and doing great! Toddler K this morning greeted me with "Hi! Good morning!" And I said, good morning, how are you doing? And he said "I'm doing good!"

Last night DD was playing on her activity mat as DH and I cleaned up after dinner. She was babbling away and I realized she was saying "Dada" over and over and over again
