Are you currently doing any research for gear?

I should be but it totally stresses me out, ha! I feel like its tough on the computer - I go from item to consumer report to new item to consumer report and on and on and on.
I wonder if it would help going to a store and holding, carrying, pushing, etc...I do have to get the ball rolling, I'm expecting twins and before we know it these minis are going to be here!

Ummm... This is how i'm surviving TTC! Baby gear research has become my favorite hobby
Cloth diapers (in my still TTC, never seen a cloth diaper in person mind, I like flips with prefolds or joeybunz inserts, I think!) and baby carriers (Beco butterfly II, Boba 3G, or beco gimini, I don't know!)

I dont know if this counts but right now I'm focused on coming up with a design for the bookshelf my husband is going to build for the nursery.

Video monitors. LO takes forever to fall asleep now - she'll just roll around and talk to herself for 30-45 min. If we go in there and she sees us, the cycle starts all over again. So we want to get a video monitor to watch her instead of going in.
I know there was a thread(s) on it recently but I can't seem to find them. Anyone know where those went?

double strollers. i've been planning on getting the combi double sport for a while, and it's probably what i'll end up getting!

@Mrs. Bee: my BFF had one for her twins and LOVED it! I thought it felt kind of cheap and wasn't sure it would hold up well, but it lasted 3 years of daily abuse, it certainly surprised me!

Teething stuff, LO is not yet 4 months and she's already started with teeth. Urgh!

@mrs. bird: our friends have one and it has a really slim profile so it can fit through most doors, is easy to fold, and takes up very little space. we would only use it once in a while when we go on longer weekend outings. we need something small light because we have stairs, and we don't have much storage space.
originally i wanted a big double stroller, but it would just take up too much space in our limited space apt for how often we would use it.

Uh... nothing! I guess I should since I'll probably need to make a registry soon. I've mostly been focused on decorating the nursery.

Does camera gear count? It's to take photos of the kids! I'm kind of glad to be on my second kid, it's less stressful if you like most of the stuff you used last time.

Cribs off and on but we're kind of at a standstill until we go to see some in person on Sunday!

"What you need to take an infant's temperature." Aka: rectal thermometers and vaseline! (no problems, just want to make sure we're prepared when the time comes).

Some beach gear for LO. I want to get one of those little baby tents! It probably would hurt to get a canopy of some sort either. We're also looking at a better umbrella stroller. FIL bought one for DS a while back, but it is just the bare minimum. We need something with a cover/canopy.

It feels like everything and nothing all at once! We have a lot of research to do but I am traveling for work so I'm hoping to have some free time of the next few weeks to narrow down my list! My husband has found "the" stroller and I am now looking at carseats and everything else. We have not even chosen a crib yet, so the needs to be done shortly too. So much to think about!

nothing, but at one point in time i was all over research! i did just add a thermometer to my registry yesterday, so of course i had to read all the reviews on them!
