We are strongly considering the name Semper as a middle name for #3. OH is a marine and it is a way to honor that. I think it works well as a girl's middle name, and I think it works okay for a boy, but I am second guessing myself.

I've never heard it before used as a name, but I immediately thought girl.

I don’t associate either with it and since it’s a middle name I think it’s totally irrelevant! :). For me middle names are excellent opportunities to use stuff you might not use as a first name/ honour places or people by using it as a middle.
